Hadley Random Legacy: Gen 1 Chapter 5

Welcome back to the Hadley Random Legacy. Last time we ended on a cliffhanger, but now you can finally see that the final child of generation 2 has Fern's hair color!!! Hazel still has Leighton's eyes I think. Oh well, you win some, you lose some!

She is very cute! At first I was tempted to just make her the heir automatically because it would be nice to pass down the strawberry blonde hair. But I'm also pretty fond of Oliver and Henry. Theodore and Evelyn aren't as exciting to me yet but they could still grow on me over time. I might end up doing an heir poll on the Boolprop forums to help me decide eventually.

Henry: "When I grow up, I won't have a job. Werewolves don't have to get jobs."

Theodore: "I don't think that's how it works, bro."

Oliver was excited that he got invited to this girl's house after school, but it didn't take long for her to start yelling at him. Apparently he kept behaving inappropriately.

Oliver: "All I did was eat some food from the fridge. I'm starving!"

Random Girl: "That's for stealing our food, weirdo!"

Poor Oliver.

Oliver couldn't get home fast enough after being slapped. He didn't even mind reading his little brother Theodore to sleep.

Meanwhile Henry continues to practice his werewolf skills, to the detriment of all the furniture.

Evelyn works on her cooking and baking skills while baby Hazel tackles the peg box.

Summer finally rolled around again. Fern decided the family needed a break from all the constant skilling and striving to be perfect so the whole family went down to the Summer Festival. Everyone is pictured here except Henry who was late. Probably still tearing up the furniture.

Oliver, Leighton and Henry head straight for the roller rink while Theo enjoys a nice sno-cone. Evelyn just sort of stares into the distance, overwhelmed with choices for fun.

Fern engages in another eating contest and this time she wins!

Some of the family cool down with a nice water balloon fight. Adults against children doesn't seem too fair though.

Henry finally made it and promptly got his face painted to look like a pirate.

It is very rare for the family to actually all be sitting down eating a meal together. This is the closest they ever come really.

Here is their greeting card photo from the festival. I don't know why it's so dark, but it's annoying. Maybe it's because I have a lighting mod installed?

Theo spontaneously transforms into his werewolf form while Leighton watches with concern.

Leighton actually went to the spa and cured himself of his powers. It looks like he might be considering the same for his two sons.

Fern fainted from fear at the sight of the transformation.

Leighton: "Dear, you do remember I was a werewolf too right? You saw me transform plenty of times. We even woohooed in my werewolf form."

Fern: "So...terrifying..."

I think Fern might have the memory of a goldfish.

Friday came and it was time for prom. This girl is one of Oliver's friends from school. He had planned on asking her to prom but didn't end up having enough time.

This is just your daily Leighton appreciation post. Here he is achieving his lifetime wish Surrounded by Family because the triplets have just become teenagers! Fern still has to wait until Hazel grows up but Leighton already had Sam.

First up was Henry even though he is actually the youngest of the triplets. Now that the triplets are teens I can see that he and Theo are not identical. They have much different eyes. Henry has more of Leighton's eye shape and Theo below has more of Fern's.

Somehow Henry was the only one to not get an A in his schoolwork and so he automatically gained the Loves to Swim trait. At this point we've definitely failed Perfect Children, but it's all right. We tried lol. They are Nearly Perfect Children, and I'm ok with that!

Here is teenage Theo. He gained the Excitable trait for Runs in the Family.

And here is Evelyn. She really loves violet aka pink. She also gained the Excitable trait for Runs in the Family. Now Henry is the only one without it so he better get straight A's in school so he can gain it as his YA trait.

Also Evelyn is pretty (and might look the most like Fern so far) but I still have no idea where the dark brown hair came from.

One of the first things the triplets do upon becoming teenagers is start playing video games. Honestly, that is very relatable.

Maid: "What a charming family. Even though I've had to steal some of their stuff over the years because they couldn't afford to pay me."

Heartwarming.

I honestly have no idea why I took this photo. Maybe just to show off Leighton's new work uniform. He's in the rock track of the music career and is now like level 6 or 7. Even though he's getting pretty high in his career and Fern is mid-level in hers, the family is always broke. That's what having five kids will do to you.

Fern decided to help Hazel tackle some of the many toddler skill books. Hazel at least will probably be able to hit them all as she's the only toddler in the house which feels like a breeze after briefly having 4 (!!!) at once.

We'll end this chapter with Oliver's romantic interest that he met at prom. She's making a weird face in this picture lol

Oliver: "I'm just so happy to have met a girl who doesn't want to slap me!"

Another chaste first kiss. With that the pair quickly become boyfriend and girlfriend. And that's where we'll end for today. An heir poll will be coming soon what with Oliver nearing his YA birthday. I don't think Hazel will be a teen by that point, but we'll have to just go with it.
