Hadley Random Legacy: Gen 1 Chapter 3

Welcome back to the Hadley Random Legacy. This is going to be an increasingly common scene, poor Sam taking care of his many younger half-siblings because even two hands-on parents struggle to manage having a toddler and three babies in the house.

Speaking of which, Fern and Leighton frequently engage in synchronized parenting activities.

Leighton still manages to spend time with firstborn Oliver though and manages to teach him how to walk. I think Sam taught him the potty and Fern was the one to teach him how to talk. So it's definitely a team effort raising these babies here in the Hadley household.

Sam does manage to take some time for himself though. His dad earned enough money to buy an easel and artistic Sam was all over it from the beginning.

Fern: "Cheer up, guys. Aren't you excited to see Ivy's new house?"

Sam: "Grandma's gone!"

Unfortunately Yumi Sekemoto could not live forever.

I mentioned before that Ivy has a much nicer house. I wasn't kidding. This is where she and Stiles live. They can even afford lobster thermidor for their holiday party.

Stiles: "When you're the boss, you make the big bucks."

Ivy, meanwhile, couldn't even be bothered to wake up for her own party. With her work hours and status as a night owl though, it's hard to blame her.

Ivy: "Gotta...zzz...marry...zzz...Stiles...."

Stiles: "Glad to see you could make it, Sekemoto. Congrats on the triplets."

Leighton: "Actually, I took my wife's last name, sir. I'm a Hadley now, but thank you."

Sam: "Dad, they have lobster! They must be so rich..."

Fern: "Money isn't everything, Sam. Family is much more important."

Leighton: "Fern's right, bud, and anyway, we'll have a nice house like this one day too."

Money might not be everything, but the Hadleys are definitely feeling cramped in their current house. It's about to feel even smaller now that the triplets are becoming toddlers!

First up is the eldest, Evelyn. I'm not sure where she got that dark brown hair from because it's definitely not black. She does have Leighton's dark eyes though.

Evelyn is a Couch Potato and Loves the Heat. Her favorites are Rap, Spaghetti and Violet. All the triplets are Pisces.

Leighton's genes are totally dominant. I'm a little sad tbh. So far none of the kids have any of Fern's coloring. This is Theodore by the way, and he is a werewolf like his dad.

Theodore is Neurotic (like Sam) and Friendly. His faves are Epic, Potato Truffle Torte and Yellow.

Henry is also a werewolf, and I believe he is identical to Theodore. Maybe the last baby will get Fern's hair or eye color.

Henry is Eccentric and Grumpy. His faves are Digitunes, Firecracker Shrimp and Lilac like his brother Oliver.

Everyone was so busy with the triplets that Leighton didn't get a birthday party sadly.

Here he is as a mature adult. His hair got a little messy and his clothes got a little messed up but that's nothing a trip to the dresser won't fix. :)

Let me just say that having four toddlers at once is DIFFICULT. I have no idea how I'm going to manage to get perfect children with them all. I think I'll be able to get their walking, talking, potty, blocks and xylophone done but having four toddlers read all 9 of the toddler books is proving to be very hard to keep track of and a real pain in the butt.

If we don't quite accomplish having them read all the books, I'm still going to count it as a semi-victory if they get everything else down and still continue the legacy of course. :)

Walls down view just to show how crazy and chaotic it is in the Hadley household right now. My micro-managing is at the max. Poor Leighton and Fern hardly have any time to do anything but eat, sleep and help the toddlers. And Leighton had to go back to work!

I've never had a werewolf baby in the game before. Apparently they can also scratch up the furniture. It's both adorable and annoying lol

Leighton: "My werewolf sense is tingling. There's something sneaking up on me, isn't there?"

Leighton: "You think you can scare me? That's cute."

I've never seen a sim laugh at a zombie attack before. It must be because he's a werewolf and knows he is stronger than a zombie. Haha.

This is how werewolf Leighton likes to eat his dinner.

Fern: "I'm just glad my husband enjoys my cooking. :)"

Leighton: "It doesn't have to be cooked..."

They are a match made in heaven.

It was time for Oliver to grow into a child. That would make things easier on his parents, not having four toddlers at the same anymore!

This cute little guy is Rebellious now. I guess he's been listening to his Aunt Ivy a lot lately.

Oliver: "Fight the system!"

Also, I think he looks a lot like Sam. Fern's genetics were just completely dominated by Leighton's.

This is all these poor kids do is skill lol. I clearly should have made a spreadsheet or something to try and track who read which toddler books already. I didn't though so it's complete chaos.

Speaking of chaos, Fern and Leighton still want to have one more baby. Now that Oliver is a child and the toddlers will be aging up soon as well, they figured it was time to pull the trigger on the last baby.

Fern has no trouble conceiving this time. It was just Oliver that was so darn hard to make for some reason! At least it won't be possible for her to have twins or triplets since the house will be full after this.

Anyway, that's all for now. See you next time! :)
